Our priority as your dental care provider has always been to preserve and protect your health and safety. As usual, we continue to follow all guidelines set forth by OSHA and the ADA in order to provide a clean, safe, environment in which to protect your health, both oral and otherwise. We are in this together.
Among our precautionary measures include…
Hand Hygiene
Proper handwashing is one of the most important measures our team takes to prevent the spread of infection. For routine dental exams and nonsurgical procedures, we wash thoroughly with water and hand soap specifically created for healthcare settings.
Personal Protective Equipment
We possess and use all necessary protective equipment, including face masks, gloves, protective eyewear, and protective clothing. Worn by our team and changed regularly, Personal Protective Equipment is designed to protect everyone in our practice from exposure to infectious agents.
Sterilization and Disinfection of Patient-Care Items and Devices Instruments and equipment used in your care are all regularly sterilized and disinfected to ensure that your health is maintained. Items such as surgical instruments and mouth mirrors are all subject to rigorous cleanings.
The Use of Extraoral Dental Suction System to Minimize Aerosols
The EOS suction system-Aerosols and Droplets annihilator is designed and engineered to reduce droplet and aerosol spray that is an innate part of dental care. During dental procedures, Droplets and Aerosols are passed on to the dentist and staff’s bodies. Patient care and the safety and health of the staff and the dentist is paramount, for the elimination of blood, aerosols and fine liquid particles. All of which are annihilated by the ADS EOS extraoral dental suction system. The ADS EOS extraoral dental suction system collects aerosols, droplets, dust and pathogens produced during routine dental procedures through a suction mouthpiece hood. Particulate matter is filtered by the dust/particulate filter. The HEPA filter captures particles down to 0.3 microns with 99.995% efficiency. Clean dry air is exhausted from the base cabinet. The UVC lights are positioned on the HEPA filter and kill any remaining bacteria and viruses captured by the HEPA filter and are exhausted from the cabinet base.
Regular Sanitation
Common touchpoints, including seating, workspaces, door handles, railings, and restrooms are sanitized on a regular basis by our team with effective cleaning solutions certified to kill viruses.
Thank you for your continued trust and confidence in our team. Together, we can overcome these circumstances and continue your path to greater health. We look forward to taking care of you at your next appointment and wish you and your family the very best.
